Since 1990 - when we were called Taylor Bridge Rugby Club - we've been building a
family-orientated rugby community. We're all about family, fun, and of
course, rugby!
We provide a mix of teams and formats to offer all children the opportunity to experience the joys of rugby and being part of a team.
What is Puppies?
A full season-long introductory rugby program for children aged 3 to 5 years (preschool). Running each Friday night (only during the school term), it is a fun and age-appropriate introduction to rugby!
Competing in the Brisbane Junior Rugby Union competition, our Bullsharks team play a modified rugby format for both boys and girls. Our Bullsharks teams range from U6s to U12s
GingerCloud Foundation’s Modified Rugby Program (MRP) is a specifically designed community and social participation activity for neurodiverse young people, with Autism, Down Syndrome, ADHD and other learning and perceptual disabilities.
The UQ Junior Heavies were established in 2019 to create a pathway for players from UQ Junior Bullsharks and Kenmore Bears to advance to senior rugby at UQ Rugby Club.
The Junior Heavies teams start from U13s all the way to Junior Colts. The program is coordinated by UQ Rugby Club. With UQRFC’s support, teams have extensive coaching support and development opportunities.
